World Lithuanian events began on July 1st with an event at Vilnius ROTUŠĖS SQUARE – 100 Lithuanian faces – co-joined Lithuania!, whose patron became president of the republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė, and ambassador – Andrius Mamontovas where they presented the 35th Lithuanian community. On the 1-11th of July, Vilnius City Hall, a unique exhibition of the world Lithuanian artists was held. The World’s Lithuanians are also actively involved in the song of the song. |

July 2018 and the whole nation of Lithuania celebrates the 100th year of it’s independence from Russian autonomous rule.
Amongst the wonderful celebratory folk festivities, some serious politicking was to be had and, amongst it all, a new and fresh crew of energy was elected to represent the nation throughout the globe: communities from the USA, South Americas, Europe, Asian and elsewhere were represented and heard from to allow further dialogue and communication about the needs of each community, in which to bring better response to the global directives of all for better collaborations, directives and socialisation of the Lithuanian diaspora.
