The Lithuanian language claims its roots to being one of the oldest languages in the world.
To preserve the language and culture of our heritage is possibly one of the most important functions that are handed down from generation to generation. In order to preserve its integrity, the Lithuanian nation has had to endear countless attempts at its suppression. Throughout the history, the natives have kept its beautiful poetic tongue alive.
Expatriates in every country now endeavour to keep it going, Australia included.

Melburno Lietuvių kalbos mokykla „Mano Kalba“
Lietuvių kalbos, kultūros ir istorijos pamokos suaugusiems, jaunimui ir vaikams.
Pamokos vaikams vyksta sekmadienio rytais, o suaugusiems – antradienio vakarais.
Pradedantiesiems: tiems kurie žino labai mažai lietuvių kalbos ir norėtų išmokti esmines frazes apie maistą, spalvas, apsipirkimą, kūno dalis, skaičius, laiko pasakymą, šalis bei sveikinimus.
Jau kalbantiems lietuviškai: Užsiėmimai skirti Australijoje gimusiems ir suaugusiems žmonėms, kurie kalba lietuviškai, tačiau norėtų išmokti daugiau žodžių ir išsireiškimų, pagerinti savo ištarimą ir rašybą, ar tik šiaip smagiai pabendrauti lietuviškoje aplinkoje.
Online lithuanian language, culture and history classes for beginners and advanced of all ages (adults and children alike). Children’s classes are held Sunday mornings, all other classes are on Tuesday evenings.
New students are especially invited to join these Lithuanian language lessons.
All levels are catered for, from beginners interested to learn the basics to those who already speak Lithuanian but want to improve.
One-hour beginners’ lessons are ideally suited for those wanting to travel to Lithuania and begin interacting with local Lithuanians here or abroad. All books and teaching material are provided.
Intermediates: These lessons are targeted for those born and raised here in Australia who somewhat understand and talk Lithuanian already, but want to expand their vocabulary, improve their pronunciation, study Lithuanian grammar and practice their language skills with fellow Lithuanian intermediates.

Vaikučiai laukiami kas antrą sekmadienį Melburno lietuvių klube
Pradinukai – kiekvieną sekmadienį Online arba gyvai.
Būrelio metu mes dainuojame, šokame,žaidžiame. Pradinukai mokosi lietuvių kalbos ir tradicijų, muzikos , istorijos. Siuo metu grupeje yra 18 vaiku.

We welcome children every second Sunday on level 2 of Lithuanian House (44 Errol street, North Melbourne). For Primary level – Online every Sunday or Face to Face ( Depends on your situation) Primary level – more concentrated on Lithuanian language and traditions, music, learning how to play the ‘Kankles’

Mokyklėlė atvira vaikams nuo 0 iki 12 metų amžiaus vaikams nepriklausomai nuo jų lietuvių kalbos lygio.

Lituanistinė kalbos studija Spindulys yra įsikūrusi Brisbeno mieste ir pamokos vyksta pirmą kiekvieno mėnesio sekmadienį.
Studija turi dvi mokinių grupes: Spinduliukus, mažylių klasę skirtą vaikams iki 3 metų, kur mažieji šoka ir dainuoja; ir Spindulius, vyresnėlių klasę skirtą vaikams nuo 4 metų, kur daugiau dėmesio yra skiriama tarimui ir rašymui. Pamokos vyksta kontaktiniu būdu ir yra mokamos, jas veda savanorės lietuvės mamytės, gyvenančios Brisbene.
The Lithuanian language study group “Spindulys” was developed in Brisbane and lessons happen every First Sunday of the month.
Studies have 2 distinct groups: “Spinuliukus”, a children’s class up to age 3, where they learn dancing and singing, and from 4 years of age, where children focus more on pronunciation and writing. Lessons are via contact and direct teaching. The lessons are led by volunteer lithuanian mothers living in Brisbane.

Lituanistinė mokykla „Baltų šalelė“
Sekmadieninėje Perto lituanistinėje mokykloje „Baltų šalelė“ mokosi 40 mokinių, ir mokyklos bendruomenę sudaro 30 šeimų bei dirba 5 mokytojos ir 1 asistentė. Mokykla dirba pagal WA mokslo metų kalendorių ir duris atveria sekmadieniais nuo 9:30 iki 13:00 valandos. Mokykloje veikia 4 grupės: ikimokyklinio amžiaus grupė ŽEMAIČIAI (3-5 metai), priešmokyklinė/išlyginamoji grupė KURŠIAI (nuo 6 metų), pradinių klasių grupė AUKŠTAIČIAI (nuo 8 metų) bei suaugusiųjų grupė LIETUVIAI. Mokykloje mokiniai ne tik mokosi lietuvių kalbos, krašto pažinimo, bet ir kultūros, tradicijų bei dalyvauja mokyklos organizuojamose šventėse bei strovyklose.
Perth Lithuanian School “Baltu Salele” is open every Sunday during WA school term from 9:30 to 13:00. There are 40 students, 5 teachers and 1 teacher’s assistant at school while the school community consists of 30 families. The students are divided into 4 different age groups: ŽEMAIČIAI (3-5 year olds), KURŠIAI (from 6 year old), AUKŠTAIČIAI (from 8 year old) and adult group LIETUVIAI. As well as learning the Lithuanian language, the students are introduced to Lithuanian history, traditions and culture through integrated learning. They also take part in various events and camps organised by the school.
